Terms of Service — Subitem Template Workflow

Last updated: 10 September 2026

These terms cover your use of the Subitem Template Workflow app for monday.com ("the app"), supplied by Kauê Natan Gonçalves Bidim, trading as Saoirse Software in Ireland ("we", "us"). Installing or using the app means you accept them.

1. What you get

A licence to use the app on the monday.com account it is installed on, for as long as your subscription is active, for your own internal business purposes.

2. Paying for it

The app is charged at the price shown on its monday.com marketplace listing. Billing, invoicing, tax and refunds are handled entirely by monday.com under the monday.com Marketplace Terms, and their rules take precedence over anything on this page about payment. We never see or handle your payment details.

There is a free plan, and every plan sets how many times a template may be applied in a calendar month. An application is counted per item and template, not per click: the first time a template is applied to a given item in a month it counts once, and for the rest of that month that same template can be applied to that same item again without counting again. No plan limits how many templates your account keeps. What each plan includes is shown on the app's marketplace listing.

3. If the subscription lapses, or a monthly limit is reached

Nothing of yours is deleted, hidden or held hostage. While a subscription is not active — after a trial ends, after a cancellation, or after a failed renewal — and equally when the month's applications are used up, everything already there stays: every subitem the app has ever created is your own work sitting on your own board and nothing touches it, and every template stays readable, and can still be deleted.

When a subscription is not active, only writing is turned off: saving or changing a template, and applying one. Renewing turns them back on immediately — there is nothing to reinstall and nothing to restore. When the month's applications are used up, even less stops: only applying a template to an item it has not been applied to this month waits, and building and editing templates carry on. That limit lifts on the 1st, or on a plan change. Erasing your data is never blocked, not even with an unpaid invoice.

We put this in writing because the opposite is one of the most common complaints about apps of this kind: full functionality that suddenly becomes paid and takes previous work with it. We will not do it.

4. What the app is not

The app saves reusable subitem templates on a board and creates those subitems on an item when somebody asks it to. It is not an automation engine: it watches nothing, runs on no schedule and reacts to no change on your board — it does something when a person clicks. It creates subitems only: it does not create, move, archive or delete items, columns or boards, and it never deletes a subitem it made. Deciding what belongs in a template, and who may build one, remains your decision.

5. One behaviour of monday.com you should know about

monday.com itself blanks some of an item's columns the first time that item is given a subitem. That is the platform's behaviour and it happens whoever creates that first subitem. Because it would otherwise look as though the app had wiped your work, the app notes the item's values before it starts, reads the item again afterwards and puts back only what was emptied — never what somebody changed in the meantime. It is a safeguard, and like any safeguard it depends on monday.com answering: if the platform does not respond, the app tells you what it could not put back rather than staying silent.

6. The app does not send email

We state this before you buy rather than letting you discover it. The app sends no email and no push notification. Everything it does happens on the screen in front of you, and it tells you there what was created and what was not.

7. Your responsibilities

8. Availability

The app runs on monday.com's own hosting for marketplace apps and depends on monday.com's infrastructure and APIs. We aim to keep it working and to fix problems promptly, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service and we do not control monday.com's uptime.

9. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Support

Support is provided by email, in English, on business days. Write to help@saoirsesoftware.com. We aim to reply within two business days.

11. Ending it

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your monday.com account; billing stops under monday.com's rules. Uninstalling erases everything the app holds for your account, automatically and immediately, including the templates and the authorisation key — so copy out anything you still need first. Your boards, your items and every subitem already created are untouched.

We may end this licence if the app is used in breach of these terms or of monday.com's marketplace terms.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
